Starwood and ISS sign cleaning contract

AMSTERDAM, April 2011 - As of today, ISS Cleaning Services provides the cleaning maintenance at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center and Hotel Pulitzer in Amsterdam. To this end, Starwood Hotels the Netherlands and ISS have signed a multiyear contract. Both the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel as Hotel Pulitzer are part of the global hotel chain Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

The Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel is the only hotel with direct access to the arrival and departure halls of Amsterdam. The room attendants of ISS take care of the cleaning maintenance of the hotel rooms. In addition, the cleaning maintenance of the public areas is provided by the ISS cleaners. Hotel Pulitzer in Amsterdam is an unique 5-star hotel consisting of 25 restored 17th and 18th century canal houses. In this hotel in Amsterdam, the ISS employees are only responsible for cleaning the rooms. All employees are directed by the ISS supervisors.
